Living The Dream

So we did something that I am sure many think is bonkers and may not totally understand — We uprooted our lives in Ontario and move out East to the Acadian Coast and bought a 182 year old Farmhouse that is in much need of some TLC. Yup… kinda bonkers 😂 We were told by friends and acquaintances that we were nuts, brave, and asked the question, "Aren't your afraid?" when we informed them last year in August of 2022 that we bought a home and are moving to New Brunswick. Hell Yes! of course we were afraid. The difference is we didn't let our fear get in our way. We did it despite of our fear.
They thought we were even more unhinged when we said that we purchased the home Site Unseen {except for a Virtual FaceTime Home Viewing and a Pre-purchase home inspection } and that we were moving in as quickly as two weeks! WHAAAT!!!! That was the general reaction of our friends and family too when we told them.
It actually all happened quite fast and I believe that it was a few months into our move that we were still processing it all. However, it was the beginning of something that we couldn't quite put our fingers on at the time. It was an inner knowing guiding us to what was next. —
and it was something that we would never have been able to have if we stayed in Ontario.
On September 15th we packed up a 26' Uhaul Truck, a 12' trailer and our 3 dogs and began our journey East.
Hell Yes! of course we were afraid. The difference is we didn't let our fear
get in our way. We did it dispite of our fear

So I welcome you to our Blog page 👋 this will be the space to see how our lives in Big Blue will unfold on this incredible & insane journey. I admit… we’re pretty stoked. The dogs are quite happy too with all this grass & space.
{ We lost our senior dog Maya on May 17th, 2023. Our hearts are full knowing that she was able to experience life here with 1.3 acres of land to roam and sniff. She was 15 years old. Our dream to own land one day started when she came into our lifes }
